Jungle Lodges: Posada or Sandoval Lake Lodge?
Up until this morning I was on a wait list for the Posada. In the meantime I had researched Sandoval Lake Lodge. Both are comparablly priced. I got reservation forms for both of them and I think they want payment upfront.
Would like to hear from anyone who is familiar with either. I have checked Trip Advisor and Posada comes out on top, but not sure if I can trust the reviews. I will be going in Sept and traveling alone as my travel companions are staying in town.
Inkaterra is too upscale for my budget, but does offer a special for rooms still available 20 days ahead of booking, that is not much more than other lodges. I'm a little tempted to wait and see, but don't want to loose out entirely. Is late Sept a busy time? Would you book a sure thing (Posada/Sandoval) or wait and see if Inkaterra is available at discount?

I just checked Manu. For anyone researching the options, it would be a 7-hour trip upriver by road and boat travel. The 4 day/3 night program is $1385...a bit pricey.
Any input regarding how busy lodges will be at end of Sept and waiting till then to book the best deal at Inkaterra?

Jackie,
I am seriously considering the Amazon Rainforest Conservation Center for my trip next year. More info here, http://www.latinamerica.co.uk/peruvian_amazon.htm - scroll down for details.
