Colonia del Sacramento, Uruguay, where to stay?

Hi,
I am going to Montevideo and Buenos Aires would like to stop by Colonia del Sacramento for a day or two. What is a good place to stay?
Thanks,
Joana

You can try Posada del Angel, or a little off town the Sherato Colonia GOlf and Spa. There are reports in Tripadvisor. Good luck.

El Viajero hostel & suites in Colonia seems to get pretty decent ratings. You might try them

There are two El Viajero in Colonia. We stayed at the B&B/Posada which is a great location, very close to the old town and an easy walk from the ferry/bus station:

Nice , spacious and well furnished rooms with TV, nice bathrooms but, as always in SA, limited breakfasts!

For a more hostel type experience their other operation is not far away - http://www.coloniahostel.com/

They also have places in Montevideo. http://english.elviajerohostels.com/

We booked with http://www.hostelworld.com/ and found them to be very efficent with good prices.

Posado Plaza Mayor was a great place to stay! Right in old town.
