Transportation Airport to Buenos Aires Marriot Florida Plaza

Your help is highly appreciated. I need to know my choices of safe affordable transportation from the airport to this hotel. Thanks Carmel

Take one of the airport taxis. The stands are located just as you exit the customs area. The first in your right will be Manuel Tienda Leon. It's the one I've used in the past...

Other option is to arrange for the hotel to pick you up. It shouldn't cost much more than the taxi and is convenient and safe.

We are having our hotel make the arrangements. It is $20 total. Some of the hotels quote $60, so don't overpay. I would be careful about getting in just any taxi.

Our hotel charged $15 from airport to Recoleta for a remise car, for example. You can try contacting some of the remise drivers posted on this forum to arrange transport.

Just pay the 30 pesos ($9) for a taxi and close your eyes. Or, learn how to say "slow down" or "no hurry" in Spanish and give the driver an extra 5 pesos.

Bill, you are brave! Taxis are an issue here, request your hotel to send you one to the airport, but refuse to pay more than U$S 15. The normal rate for a reliable radio taxi, which will carry a sign with your name to the airport, is about 10 U$S.
