Tamarindo Diria or Paradisus Playa Conchal

We are going to CR in March - anyone been to either of these hotels on the beach. (Tamarindo Diria or Paradisus Playa Conchal)We have 3 boys going 11-14 yrs. Playa Conchal seems like a much nicer hotel.

Your boys will LOVE Paradisus and all the activities offered there. I'd choose it hands down.

Hello, I like the beach of Playa Conchal. The water is clear and great for snorkeling and swimming. If you want more nightlife with bars and restaurants in a cwowded town go to Tamarindo. See pics of both beaches on my website.

alibigy, after much research, I chose Hotel Capitan Suizo right on the beach just an 8 minute walk from the Tamarindo Diria/Tamarindo Beach. My 18 yr. old son and 21 yr. old daughter took surf lessons on Tamarindo Beach. We swam and boogie boarded at the hotel as the beach is very nice here. The hotel restaraunt/bar, and pool is right next to the beach. My family LOVED this hotel as it is a paradise. We stayed in a Bungelow and could hear the waves at night. We were there the end of May and it wasn't hot in a bungelow at all. Their A/C rooms near the lobby are very nice too. Go to www.visittamarindo.com and check lodging. Have fun.
