Need help trying to book Interbus from San Jose to Arenal

I am flying into San Jose and was advised to take the interbus shuttle from the Restauraunt Calalu to Arenal. I don't see it listed, can someone help me book it?

Should I just call them and book it?

I would call them. They've re-designed their website and made it a little confusing. You need to select a pick-up option as Rio Segundo (which would then give you the options of Holiday Inn Express, Hampton Inn and the restaurant) but it seems as they have removed that from the drop down menu.

If you are confused, you can also go to this website to make your reservation: www.shuttlebus.co.cr

If you are wanting to go from the airport to Arenal, scroll down until you see "Rio Segundo" for the airport pickup. This is a 5-minute taxi ride from the airport. Then book your trip from there.

You can also book your trip from the nearby Hampton Inn or Holiday Inn Express and take a taxi to one of these - they are both in the same area.

I just checked the website and if you want to book your trip going from Hampton Inn or Holiday Inn Express, you will have to choose San Jose -- they are both listed there.

The Rio Segundo option is the restaurant you mentioned. It's really easy just to book the Rio Segundo pickup and take a taxi there.
