March/April weather
This is our first trip to Playa Del Carmen.....the weather forecast is not looking too great right now with thunderstorms being forecast for Saturday, Sunday and Monday....and chances of rain for the rest of the week.
For the "regular" visitors to this part of Mexico - what are the chances I am going to have an entirely rainy week? Should I consider cancelling?
It has been a very long, cold Ontario winter!
Thanks!

I am more familiar with Puerto Vallarta on the western side, but weather forecasts are notoriously inaccurate.
March and April typically would have really nice weather at pretty much all the popular beach resort towns, both sides and the Baja too. A thunderstorm or "chance" of rain means just that. Possibly, and often it's at nighttime.
Speaking only for myself, no way would I cancel!

The weather forecasts for this area usually sound much worse than they are. This is the tropics - rain is fairly common but usually brief. We just got back from the Playa area (our 10th year), and it was in the mid 80's with a few very brief showers. Don't cancel, you'll have the time of your life!
