Laundromat in Puerto Vallarta
Hi everyone.
Does anyone know of a laundromat near the marina in Puerto Vallarta? I don't want to take a lot of clothes with me and would prefer to wash them while I'll be there. I don't mind doing it myself.
Thanks very much.

I don't know The Marina area, but do know PV.
There are places where you drop your clothes off in the morning and pick them up end of day (washed, dried, folded, wrapped in plastic).
They charge (peso) either by weight or by the piece. It is not expensive. I don't recall seeing any self-serve coin-op laundries, but as I said I don't know that part of town very well.
You're on the right track packing light for sure. You don't need much in Puerto Vallarta, shorts, t-shirts, swim trunks or suits, sandals, maybe sneakers and socks for walking/hiking.

Here's an idea... take your dirty laundry with you, go down to Playa Los Muertos (the very popular local beach on the southside of town). The street "behind" the beach is Olas Altas, near the corner of Basilo Badillo is Elsa's Launderia... it's a drop off place as I described above. Spend the day, go back to the Marina with clean clothes. You can easily get there by local bus or taxi. Loads of place to shop, eat, etc. in this part of town.
