Hidden Valley or Five Sisters Lodge?

We are traveling for our honeymoon and can't decide between Hidden Valley Inn or Five Sisters Lodge for 3 nights. We appreciate any advice on these places or any others that you have enjoyed in the area. Also, which activities were everyone's favorites? Barton Creek/ATM/Caracol, etc.

Thanks!

Are you considering Tikal? It is truly phenomenal and only a few hours over the border from San Ignacio. Congratulations and happy trails!

I'd do ATM for sure but would probably avoid Caracol unless you're a real ruin junky - I've heard it's beautiful but the roads are problematic and it's a full day with lots of time on the road. What other places will you visit on your trip?

HVI hands dopwn, a unique 7200 acres property with 7 private waterfalls (you can rent one for the day) 90 miles of trailsm dramatic vistas, great staff, fireplaces in the room, pool and hot tub. I'd visit Caracol/Mtn Pine ridge, Barton Creek Cave and ATM from there. Leave a day to epxlore HVI property, which is lovely.
