GPS software for Costa Rica

Just trying to find GPS software that actually works for Costa Rica.
I did find something on the internet, it cost about $50.00 and could be loaded onto my Garmin, but I could not use it on my pc to create routes.

Can someone tell me what they use and where to purchase it? I want to install it onto my Garmin. I will be in CR for 2 weeks and plan on coming back so renting a GPS does not make sense to me cost wise.
Thanks

We have used Smartways for over 1 year with a couple of new donloads and are extremely dissatisfied with the navigation. The car rentals use EZ Find I believe. What are you looking at for $50?

Well, although we had downloaded the software to our Garmin, we spent most of the time waiting for a satellite signal in Costa Rica, only to find that our roads were not on their system.

Depending on where you are going, you will find driving in CR suprisingly easy. There just aren't that many roads. A good map is all you really need!

Sorry if you mis'understood. The only software I found was for $50.00. I am more than willing to pay more money for the software, I was looking to see if anyone could suggest a company for me to purchase the Costa Rica software from.

You could also rent a GPS from your rental car agency... that way you'd be sure that it works.
