Christmas in Belize
Hi, we're a family with two young boys looking for a good time in Belize during Christmas. Any recommended cayes, locations, places to stay? Any unique celebrations we shouldn't miss?
Thanks!
Thanks!

There are many great options, but I would work quickly if you plan to travel over Xmas, nail down your air and see what is available for your dates. Space sells out way in advance for this time period. Xmas is a great time of year and celebrating here start early Dec and run into Jan. Look to split your trip between the beach and adventurous mainland.

Just a head's up. We're going at Christmas, too- and spending four days in the jungle and 3 days on Ambergris. It was very hard finding a place on Ambergris. A lot of places have a 5 or 7 day minimum over the holiday.

Ambergris Caye is a great place to do Christmas with kids.
Many people here get into the Christmas spirit and there is a yearly decorating contest for the best house. It is worth renting a cart and doing a drive around to see all the decorations - doing an island Christmas is a lot of fun.
