Airfares from Los Angeles
I found a good deal for this November, $313, but am wondering if we should wait until Feb/March of '09 to have drier weather.
Does anyone know if generally the airfare is higher in Feb/Mar as compared to November? If we save lots of $$, we'll go this November and hope for little rain.

There is no 'section' by country - all posts show up to the left under Latin America regardless - selecting a country only helps if someone, down the road, is doing a search for all posts about that specific country. You may get better advice if you re-post with Guatemala in your title and mention what areas you thinking of visiting.

Never any guarantees, of course, but in a normal year, Guatemala's rainy season starts to wind down by the end of October, and November is usually drier. The wet season around Tikal does last through November, but usually it's not anything that would interfere with travel. Emphasize "usually."
If it were me, I'd grab the $313 fare. That sounds great.
