4 25 year olds traveling to Costa Rica

Hi! I have a group of 4 going to Costa Rica and we are looking for nice beaches, good night life and a few excursions such as zip lining and snorkling. We have heard Tamarindo but are open for other options / ideas.

I also have been doing research for Costa Rica. Me and 3 of my friends plan on going for the same experience (4Male 25y year olds). I have heard Jaco is a good area for night life.

Both Jaco and Tamarindo are big party towns, sometimes to their detriment and the safety of visitors. Have fun, but be aware!

Last year my husband and I stayed 2 weeks in CR, and our highlight...by far...was our trip to Mal Pais, where we both learned how to surf. This is a small town on the Nicoya Peninsula accessable only by 4x4 cars (you can order taxis). The place is spectacular -- the beaches run for miles. A real experience to have.
