Need some expert advise

My wife and I are planning our 10 year anniversary this June. We are looking at Costa Rica or Mayan Riveria. We have a 5 year old so we have to keep that in mind. We want him to be entertained also. We do not want to just lay around at the resort, we want to explore and see the sights, snorkel, etc. Our lenght of stay will be 8 days. Any feedback would be appreciated. The Bacelo Maya Colonial Beach Resort looks nice in the Riviera if anyone can comment there. If you choose Costa Rica, what part?

I agree with Shillmac!

It definitely made an impression on me! Two words sum up Costa Rica, "just go!"

in Quepos is 5 years old. This is a blast and much smaller scale than the zipline tour at Arenal. Very memorable!
The guides are also conscientous and super-fun!

Have fun if you decide to go to CR!
