Where to stay in Umbria

My fiancé and I will be in Umbria for 4 days in mid-May and are looking for a
nice country inn. Considering Misia, Genius Loci and Borgo della Marmotta.
Would like a good bed (unusual in Italy?) and preferably a pool, though
it may be too cool to swim. We will have a car. Thoughts appreciated.

This is like asking us to recommend a good inn in Pennsylvania. Where in Umbria do you want to stay?

We spent a magical two weeks in Spello which has several nice looking inns. I never have experienced problems with beds during many trips to different regions of Italy.

Yes, where in Umbria? I assume you'll have a car if you want a true country inn. Spello is lovely, but it doesn't really qualify as "country" in my experience in Umbria.

IME, there is no issue with beds anywhere in Italy.

What is your budget per night (in euros)?

We'd like to stay in Southern Umbria, south of Perugia & Assisi - could be near Orvieto, Todi, Spoleto, or
anywhere in between. We will be returning to Rome.
Budget up to $160 a night.
Grazie!
