I don't understand Tomboy's logic. Is this from a movie I didn't see?

Klondike: it would be either June or July. Mostly interested in history, art, castles, beer and buying knick-knacks to take home - you know, the typical American view of Germany, lol. No, seriously, though, we would like to do the Romantic Road/Neuschwanstein trip, some shopping, become immersed in the culture. I studied German for 7 years in school and have never been there, so I am excited to practice what I remember

One can see you had German in school
Here's where you should go. Nice, cheap, German spoken only (hopefully)

Still, "Sehenswurdichkeiten" is written with a "g" like in "Sehenswürdigkeiten"

Logos999, thanks so much for all this info! You are right - I spelled the word wrong, lol. It's literally been 8 years since I studied the language. Oh well, at least I will give the local Germans a laugh
