US Air Envoy class
I posted this question earlier today on the 'airlines' board, but thought I would try it here, too.
I'm planning a trip ( later this year) from Pittsburgh to the UK on US Air, Envoy class.
When I was browsing the US Air schedules I noticed that there has been a change of equipment for Pittsburgh. Instead of Airbus 330's, they are now using 767's.
I've traveled on the 330's before but never on the 767's.
I would appreciate hearing from anyone who can compare the 767 Envoy service, amities, entertainment system, etc. with those on the Airbus.
I can see from the US Air site, that the 767 seats are not quite as roomy as the 330's.

Flown both. Liked both. I liked the 767 better. Thought the seats were nicer and the cabin setup better. I am spoiled now by flying that way.

The A330 I flew had 3 first class seat in front of us. They looked more luxurious than what we had.

The 767 flights had no first class seats. Envoy class on trans Atlantic is better than first class domestically by a light year.
The 767's are nice, but they definitely are not the 330's. I went to London last year and sat First Class on the 767 in the way there, Envoy in the 330 on the return. Loved the Envoy.

767's biggest differences are the seats and the entertainment systems. If you've been in the 330, you know about the seats that can move in every direction. The 767 is older and leather seats. Not bad, but not as good. The entertainment system has choices, but you can't pause. And finally, less room between the seats.

Overall, hey it's a nice ride. Comparing the two is probably not fair. If I'd not had the 330 on the way home, I'd have been thrilled as anything with the 767. Enjoy.

Just to let you know how fond I am of traveling Envoy class on 330's... I am considering leaving from CLT (instead of Pittsburgh) just because the 330's are still listed as flying out of that airport.
Maybe I am wanting someone to talk me out of adding extra flight time to my trip, which would be the case for sure if I left from CTL!
If there really is no striking difference in creature comfort on a 767 vs the good old Airbus then I will just go ahead and book my usual Pittsburgh- LGW flight.
I have flown on US Airways Envoy Class in a 767-200ER. It's fine. Since many passenger try to sleep, they just want a meal and rest. On the way from Europe or the UK to the US, most people stay awake.
