two days in Dublin, Any advice on what we can do.

We will be in Dublin for two days in August. There will be seven of us, 2 kids, 12 & 6. Any ideas or advice on what we can do. I was tossing around the idea of a day trip one day, and seeing the sights of Dublin the other. Please help!

As a day trip last October, I took the DART to Malahide, visited the Castle, had lunch there and stopped at Howth on my way back. A very nice way to spend the day.

You can;t miss the Book of Kells in Triity College

The kids will love the tour of Dublin Castle (which, for some reason may people don;t seem to now about). We found the natoinal museum with all the prehistoric remains fascinating.

Consider touring the prehistoric graves at Newgrange - as long as no one gets claustophobia
