Hi,
I have bought the Economy-tickets from Venice to Milano, but I can not be in this time in Italy. As I now know, I cannot refound my tickets. But, there is one possibility to change tickets (for example to Base-Tickets). If I make it, will it be possible to refund then this tickets? How many times I can change my Tickets?
Thank you for your Help!
Best Regards

How much is the ticket - is it worth the effort? Curious - if 9 euros why bother?
Did you buy economy or super economy?
http://www.fodors.com/community/europe/better-to-buy-train-tickets-in-advance.cfm
Super economy is often 9€ on this route. Economy ranges from 19€-29€. Base price is 37.50€.
29 euros is not IMO worth the hassles even thinking about upgrading to full fare then getting a refund - something that probably ain't even possible.
Thank you for answering. It was a Economy ticket (not super exonomy) for 2 persons.
Also, together is 58 euro. Who knows, is it possible to refund it in this way?
Well if kybourbon, Fodor's resident Italian train fare expert don't know no one will - good luck!
An ECONOMY fare ticket for a Trenitalia RESERVED train CAN be changed, ONCE ONLY and PRIOR to scheduled departure time, by paying the DIFFERENCE IN PRICE to the higher BASE fare. There is NO refund of the ticket. You can change the departure date and time, but NOT the class of service.
>>>. But, there is one possibility to change tickets (for example to Base-Tickets). If I make it, will it be possible to refund then this tickets? <<<
No. The new ticket will not be called a base ticket. It will be called "e;Economy ticket change" and has the same characteristics of the Economy ticket.
Thank you very much!
