Transportation from Athens Airport to Kalamata

Wife and I arrive Athens Airport at 6 PM on 2/10/13 and need a car with driver to get us to Kalamata that night. I do not feel comfortable driving myself after long flight and at night on roads I do not know.
Anyone know of a good car and driver option?

The distance from Athens to Kalamata is 250 km.

The cost of a driver for driving 500 km plus his expenses ( lunch break) and a night supplement would be too high.

You could overnight in Athens and take the KTEL bus on the next morning, you would only need a taxi to the bus station.

If you must get to Kalamata, we used Paul The Taxi Driver. He took three of us all over Greece, including Kalamata.
I will try to find my info, it has been a few years since the trip. It won't be cheap, but if you must be in Kalamata, Paul would be an excellent choice.

I am not 100% sure this is the right one, but almost.

Olympic Air used to have a flight from Athens to Kalamata, but it's not listed as a destination anymore, so that must have stopped.

Do you really want to drive through the night to Kalamata? If you travel overnight you will miss some beautiful scenery. I'm with clausar that an overnight in Athens and a KTEL bus the next morning would be the best option. I took the express bus to Kalamata a little over a year ago, and it was a very comfortable trip.

This is a travel agency based in Athens, not an online taxi service

I would recommend Amphitrion Holidays :

They are a big Greek Tour Operator, and they own a taxi fleet, plus they have an office that is open 24 /4 at the arrivals hall of the Athens Airport.
