Athens - Delphi - how to get there?`

I am going to Greece and landing in Athens at 9:30 am; I want to check into my hotel and then find a bus to take me there. Can anyone give me information about how many buses go a day and at what times?

Here are the departures:

7.30 - 10.30 - 13 - 15.30 - 17.30 - 20

http://www.ktel.org/fokis/en/athens.htm

The trip takes about 3 hours; you'd probably make the 13:00 bus, which would get you to Delphi at around 16:00, but that would probably only give you a couple of hours there until the last return bus. If possible, you might want to stay in Athens the first day and go to Delphi the next day.

That may be an ambitious plan. The new airport is north of Athens, so it takes awhile to get into Athens proper and your hotel. You aren't going to be in your room until noon at the very least. I would go the second day also if your time permits.

According to the website I mentioned above, the last bus leaves Amfissa at 17:30 and stops at Delphi on its way to Athens. There's no time given for the stop at Delphi, but 18:00 might be a reasonable guess.
