Transport from Naples to Sorrento

I need suggestions as to how to get a party of 4 adults from the train station in Naples to our hotel in Sorrento. I know we can take the local train but then we would need to take a cab from the train station in Sorrento to our hotel. I was thinking of a shuttle or car service. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I used Sorrento Cars, www.sorrentocars.com, for three legs of my recent trip to that area. Ugo's rates were the best of several agencies I contacted, his drivers were always early, and the vehicles comfortable.

And my family used sorrento easy travel, where I found Rino's rates were also competitive, and he was very friendly and helpful. He took them all the way from Rome to Sorrento, and also from Sorrento to Naples airport.

Do you mind sharing the name of your hotel? The taxi might be easiest option.

Any of the companies recommended here, plus others based on the Amalfi Coast, will do the job. Cost is going to be about 100 euros. You can measure that against the cost of four people taking the train and a cab, plus the convenience factor and what that's worth to you.

You can ask if your hotel could provide a driver from either Naples or Sorrento to the hotel. The commuter train from Naples to Sorrento is not bad.....although we stood the whole time (commuting time). Depending on how much luggage....you could need two cars or two cabs (if you go from Sorrento train station to hotel).
