Trains in Switzerland
I was wondering where to find good information on the trains system in Switzerland as well as France. I need to get from the airport in Geneva to Interlaken. As well as from Interlaken to Nice, France. Would it be better to buy the tickets online before I go or do you think I could wait to purchase them? I am expected to be there on the 30 of May. Thanks

The website is www.sbb.ch.
Click oln the words Swiss Federal Railways for English captions.
The scheduler is very thorough.
Drill down to the train level and each stop is listed.
Intra Switzerland fares are listed; few of those national train schedule web sites give international fares.
You can order ahead if you wish. It is a long darn trip to Nice, over 9 hours at best.
If you don't have much lead time to buy your ticket, I would order ahead because so much of the trip is in Italy.
If you will have two or three days in Switzerland, that should be sufficient time.
Geneva to Interlaken is a piece of cake.
three hour trip, one change, trains ever hour from the airport.
the change is in Bern. The next train is usually on an adjoiningn track.
I see no need to fret that ticket.
Buy and get on.

If Easy Jet has a flight, I think that would be better than the train to Nice.
Incidentally, Interlaken has two train stations Ost and West. You do need to know which one you need, although Interlaken is not very big.
