Train Station in Lagos
Hello, I am trying to book a train from Porto to Lagos. I can't seem to find the name of the Lagos station, or at least it's saying it's not a valid train station when I try to look it up on the Portugal train site, cp.pt
I saw that I may need to go Porto to Tunes and then take a train from Tunes to Lagos. Does anyone know? It'll be the end of May

You're right about the route involving a change in Tunes. Looks like the reason you can't book the Tunes to Lagos part is because the second leg is on a regional train and the cp.pt site only lets you book Alpha and Intercity tickets.
So you could buy the first leg and then buy the second portion of the journey on the day... regional slower trains usually have standard ticket prices so you don't have to book in advance to get a good price.

Exactly what Loco says.
You can get the "net tickets" only for the long-distance Alfa and IC trains. And you should do so for the Porto-Lagos leg to benefit from discount fares if still available.
The Litoral rail line to the Western Algarve is served by regional trains only.
These have fixed prices and you cannot reserve seats. From Tunes to Lagos €4.25.
You simply go to the ticket counter in Tunes and buy the ticket when you get there.

Thank you so much Loco2 and Cowboy1968. That makes sense. It looks like we can get one of those incredibly cheap RyanAir fares from Porto to Faro. Just 10.99 Euros. We have decided to do that. So, now I'm going to post about getting from Faro to Lagos....
Thanks again!
