Anyone know of a good place to hear traditional Hungarian music in Budapest?

jond: The Hungarian State Folk Ensamble performs traditional music and folk dancing at the Buda Concert Hall at Corvin ter 8. They have a Gypsy Orchestra and a Folk Ochestra and a large folk dancing group. Performances are at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. We enjoyed the performances very much.

We also enjoyed the gypsy concert even though it is definitely aimed at tourists and we usually aren't too into touristy things.

Thanks, this does sound good (if a bit touristy). I'll be in Budapest for 9 days so I should be able to catch one of the performances. Do I need advance tickets? How much does the place fill up?

Knowing us, we're pretty last minute so I think it was the same day or the day before that we booked them.
