Temperatures Todi early October

Can anyone who's been to Todi in October let me know what the typical temperature range is then? From bits & pieces of other posts, I'm gathering that it's still warm then... To me, "warm" is around 70 degrees (F). Is this your experience? I just don't want to waste packing space with sweaters (as I would be wearing here in Ohio at that time of year) if they're not necessary.

Thanks!

www.weather.com

Be smart and take things that can layer. It will be cool in the morning and in the evening so adding a sweater, or being able to take the sweater off if it warms during the day is crucial.

It was warm, not hot, and we wore our summer clothes. We loved Todi and it had fewer tourists than other hill towns.

We were in Todi last year in late October and the daytime temps were quite nice, no jacket or sweater required. Evenings I wore long sleeves but it was still quite pleasant. We did have heavy fog every morning in the valley so once we found Todi, we had no idea how we had gotten there when it came time to leave. Just one of the joys of discovering Umbria. Please let us know about your trip when you return. I loved Umbria.

Kim, when in Oct will you be there? I've been very late October and that region was quite cool but it sounds like you should just check the weather just proir to leaving.

Thank you for the replies... Most helpful! And yes, I will post about Umbria after I return, though I doubt I can add much that hasn't been posted already Will give it a try, though!
