Scandanavian train reservations
I'm traveling to Scandanavia for the first time with my daughter and purchased a Scandanavian Rail Pass (ACP Rail). I read that reservations are needed during the summer, but when I called ACP Rail, they could not make reservations for the high speed train from Stockholm to Oslo. They also could not make reservations for Goteborg to Copenhagen, Voss to Oslo, and Oslo to Goteborg. Apparently those are different companies. I would book the reservations via internet, but don't see a way to do so with a rail pass. I'm hoping someone can provide guidance!!!

Don't you just go to the Swedish railway site and choose Customer card from the dropdown called Eurorailpass?
https://www.sj.se/en/home.html#/
That should take care of the rail trips at least from/to Sweden and Norway.

Push comes to shove reservations are easy to get IME if needed and many trains do not require them. Check www.seat61.com for details perhaps or www.budgeteuropetravel.com or www.ricksteves.com - Personally I would not worry about getting those reservations once there but I understand some want everything pinned down. RailEurope I think would have made those reservations but now without ordering from them the extra charges would make them very expensive - try Odin's helpful suggestion first.

ACP rail is just an agent for the European Railways and has nothing to do with the actual trains you'll be taking.

www.bahn.de/en - the German Railways schedule site that I use for general info on schedules - shows plenty of direct X2 trains between Stockholm and Oslo - there could be track work at times that may necessitate substituting a bus I guess but generally many go direct.

Well, that's interesting. If I don't indicate a rail pass, it shows direct trains. With the rail pass, they didn't show up. I need to explore a bit and see if that holds true for other dates/times.
