Salzburg - One night - Old Town or New Town?

Jump to last reply

We are planning on spending 1 day at Salzburg ( incl one night) on Jun 25th. We will be 6 of us (2 seniors). As we have less time, it would be best to stay close to sights and also the seniors do not have to walk much. Has anyone got suggestions on which area to stay Old town or New town - or maybe another area ?

We would be driving in a van. Looks like there are parkings in the area where one can pay and park for the day.

If you have experience with some hotels or B&B's do advise. Looking for something under €250 in total.
