saalburg castle (fort?)
Hello, all. I will soon be traveling to Frankfurt and then to Marburg with my teenage son. I will have most of one day to myself with him until I meet friends the following day. Will I have time to go from Frankfurt to Marburg then to the Saalburg castle? What is the best way to get there?

Some googleing tells me that this is along the Rhine near Frankfurt. Any reason for picking this particular casle/fortification? I'm just curious.
The best I can do is to tell you that the German rail site is very helpful for public trans. even beyond trains, but you'll need to now the specifics of the place you're going because when I entered SAALBURG, the site gave me 3 possibilities to choose from:
