Rome Apartment Accomodation

We are a family of 5 (3 teenagers)looking for accomodation in an apartment or other, in Mid July. I have tried many sites Eurores, Venere etc and links from this site too. The main problem seems to be that even when I enter '5' people my search brings back many appartments that take a max of 4. If the site returns appropriate number of beds I usually have to do an individual check on the property for location. Final problem is the "from" price. For the times I require the price has jumped from reasonable E200, to much more.(and that's before I have to convert to Australian dollars). Trawling through all of these web pages takes forever on our somewhat outdated computer/internet system.
So, I need help to locate an apartment perhaps halfway between the colloseum and the Vatican (Trevi Fountain area?) so we can walk in one direction one day and the other the next.(we have 3 nights & 2 full days). Airconditioning in July is highly valued.

Have you tried www.sleepinitaly.com?
They seem to have apartments that accomodate up to six people and their prices seem quite reasonable.

WE stayed at the St. Peter apartment with www.comfortitalia.com. It would easily sleep 5. It is near the Vatican. It took us about 20 min to walk to the other side of the river to the other tourist sites. It does have air cond, but wonder if you can rent for less than a week..

Thanks for the referral to these 2 websites, they were both quite useful- though our ultimate choice was another company.

This apt has 2BR/2BA/LR/DR/KIT/TERRACE and is located where you want and sleeps 5 comfortably, it may be more luxurious than you want - though the terrace looks lovely...

You'll need to send an email inquiry to get price. I rented a 1 BR/1BA/LR/DR/KIT ("Julia&quot that slept 4 (king in BR + 2 fold-out sofas in LR)from this agency and paid around E200 per night.
