Rome
Hello
We are not booked for Rome yet, but wondering if anyone has stayed at Hassler Hotel or Eden? I wrote to Hassler and they don't seeme to want to reply and can't find an email address to write to the Eden. Thanks. Joanie

I've stayed at both, the Hassler several times. I wouldn't stay at either again. The best five star luxury hotel in Rome is the de Russie. The Hassler's rooms are bit dated, the service is not what I'd call enthusiastic (as you see from the slow reply your are experiencing). The Eden's rooms are for the most part dark and small. You might get more opinions if you repost with a more descriptive title as "Rome" is very general.

You asked this same question in January on a different thread and received several responses. In fact, you posed this same question in 2006. You always seem to be looking for the most "prestigious" hotel. I see you've also just posted a similar question about Positano.
