Reservations Galleria Borghese
Made reservations about two days ago at www.ticketeria.it and received an e-mail telling to wait for confirmation. Anybody know how will it take to receive it?

I recently reserved through www.ticketeria.it and received confirmation within 24 hours. Not sure if your delay in receiving a confirmation has anything to do with the fact that the museum is closed on Monday... You could try again, you have nothing to lose since they don't require prepayment; or you can ask your hotel in Rome to make the reservation for you. Good luck!

I was just thinking when I read this post; I called a central ressie # that IRA gave out awhile back and spoke to an attendant regarding 3 ressies, albeit for Florence(Uffizzi, Accademia & Bargello), and they just gave me confirmation #s. Am I gonna be screwed because I don't have a "hard" ticket in hand-will I have to wait in 2 lines to get in? Or is there an advance ressie window that is a shorter line both to pick up tickets AND enter???? Does this question make sense??? I'm leaving in 3 weeks from today! =D>

We visited the galleria Borghese just a couple of weeks ago, with advance reservations for the morning time.
When we arrived, there was really no line to speak of. I wouldn't worry. If you have your confirmation number, etc. I really don't think you will have to wait any longer or in a separate line.

the whole point of making the reservations is being able to walk up to the much shorter line, for advance reservations.
I can't see that you needed one for the Bargello, they don't usually have a line, but with your reservation numbers you should be fine.

I did the same for the Borghese Gallery: received a notification of my request, and then no confirmation email for three weeks. I then replyed to their email and said I was leaving soon, and then they immediately answered back with my confirmation number.
They have a limited number of visitors that they allow in for a two hour time period. There is no charge to make the reservation, and you don't pay until you arrive, so there is no reason not to reserve tickets if you want to be sure to get in. Of course, you have to show up at least 30 minutes ahead of your reservation time to pay or they will release your tickets.
