Public transportation in Munich and surrounding areas?
Hi,
What would be the most economical ticket(s) to buy to get around on the S-Bahn & U-Bahn?
We'll drive from Oberammergau to Erding on a Tues where we'll stay 3 nights. We leave for home on Fri late afternoon (4pm). During that time I'm sure we'll be going back & forth between Erding & Munich at least once each day using the U or S-Bahn. I'm trying to decipher which tickets would be best for us (2 adults). City Tour Card for 3 days (total area) is 48 Euros for up to 5 people. WOuld that be best?
I'm looking forward to replies from those of you who have 'been there, done that'
Thanks in advance!!

>City Tour Card = 48€ (a few extra goodies included)
> 3x Partner Tageskarte = 54€
City Tour Card wins.
>at least once each day
More than once would be really annoying. I wouldn't want to spend the whole day on a train...
