Prague-Terezin Day Trip - Want to go?
I am headed to Prague for 3 and a half days next week and am looking for people who want to join on a tour of Terezin on Monday, July 4th. The private tour needs at least 3 people to go and I think I'm the only one registered right now.
The tour vendor was recommended by a Brit who lives in Prague and runs his own informational website: http://www.livingprague.com/
They have reponded to me very nicely via email and I'd like to go. Here are the details:
Place - Wittmann Tours Meeting Point (small plaza in front of the Intercontinental Hotel, Parizska street)
Time - 10:00AM
Duration - approx. 6-7 hours; the tour returns to the meeting point at about 4:00PM
Price - adults at 1150 CZK per person (the price includes transportation, guiding services and entrance fees)
The tour of Terezin includes a visit to the Terezin Museum, the Magdeburg Barracks, the Hidden Synagogue, and the Small Fortress (the former Gestapo prison).

Would love to go, but won't be in Prague until August... rats! You could try posting your tour info on www.expats.cz Lots of different types of people read the postings, so you might find some people. Also, can your hotel propose the tour to tourists that are staying through that time? Maybe they can help.. Have a great trip.
