Positano: Hotel Posa Posa, Hotel Royal

Early May and tough to find a September hotel. I should have started looking in March. Oops.

I contacted my prior hotel (Alcione) and it's booked.

The two above have rooms and appear to be under 250E a night.

Any opinions on either?

I like walking so I don't mind stairs and whatnot. One day for sure I will need public transport so near a bus stop would be nice.

How far is the walk to Spiaggia Grande from either place?

Thanks.

well, that was easy. Still would like to hear thoughts, but, I am staying three nights at the Residence Florida (unless I hear bad things about it) and the first night at the Residence Alcione. They have one night...

thank you

It is a little further up than I like, but the views will be nice. Frankly, i would just stay all 4 nights at Florida if you can - I hate schlepping luggage and packing when in Positano!

Hi

I'd rather stay all four in one place as well. Florida doesnt have an opening on my arrival day.

I might be able to stay with a relative of a friend who has an airbnb though...

and now I am fully sorted.

I became friends with a local in Positano during my last visit, and her extended family lives there.

One of them has a BnB. I'll be staying there. Nice location and a lot cheaper, too.
