[POLL] Have you ever been in NP Plitvice Lake in Croatia?
I love national parks so my suggestion for everyone who is asking what to visit is to visit most beautifull NP in Croatia - Pltivice Lake. ( here http://www.croatiaphotos.org/plitvice you have some photos and more info's). I visit it already 7 times, 5 times at summer and 2 times at winter and for sure if you are able to do the same, at least to visiti once in both period - just do it, it's amazing.

Yes, I have been to Plitvice Lakes - twice! Once in May (two weeks ago!), once in October. Beautiful both times. This is one of the few places worth visiting a second time.

Nice pictures, I know almost every picuture where was taken. When I am watching it I think about new trevel.
One suggestion - if you think once again to visit Plitvice, think about winter time (December/January), because it's absolutely different experience!

I have been there once, in the summer of 1976, with my wife and our son who was twelve at the time. We spent a whole week there, staying in a hotel, which if I remember correctly was within the park. We had a marvellous time exploring the park on foot. There were very few visitors and no tour buses. It is most spectacular scenery, and one of the highlights of our many visits to what was then Yugoslavia.
Next month, June, my wife and I will be visiting for just a day, on our way from Zagreb to Trogir.
