PASCAL THE CARNIVORE

Bonjour mes amis:

Now I am preparing to be Francais as I am departing for wonderful Paris tomorrow.

Two quick questions:

1) Anybody have any experience with Hotel Pascal in the 5th? Does anybody know of a better hotel for even cheaper?

2) My fiancee is vegetarian. Will she have problems finding things to eat in French restaurants? And how do you say "does this have meat"? "Est-ce que ce plat a viande?"

Or "Avez-vous des plats sans viande? Ma fiancee est vegeterienne."

Ah ha!

Daniel
The second solution regarding item n°2 sounds good to me.
I'm afraid I cannot advise about question n°1.

I think you'll get more useful responses about hotels that could be better or cheaper than the Pascal if you tell everyone more about it: price, location, amenities.
The Gustafson book "Cheap Eats in Paris" contains some advice and suggestions about vegetarian dining.

Since you're leaving tomorrow, you may have to take a chance on what you have.
The Gustafson book "Cheap Eats in Paris" contains some advice and suggestions about vegetarian dining.
bon voyage

I'm not familiar with the hotel, but FF250 sounds really cheap to get your own bathroom.

The good news is that the dollar has strengthened sigificantly against the European currencies (1.00$=FF6.00).

Have a great time!
