Paris- St. Germain or Champs Élysées?

Jump to last reply

Hello everyone! I'm going to Paris for a week in May with my husband. It's going to be his first time and my first time in a long time (10 years) we are in our late twenties and although I would much rather stay in The Marais area, due to apartment choices I'm limited to two as of now, staying in St. Germain or Champs Élysées area.

I've been reading and the 6th arron seems to have more fans than the 8th.

For those who have more knowledge about the area, which would be a better place for us to stay? I'm interested in a hip, lively area with bakeries, cheese shops, nearby and of course being a girl, shopping too :)

Is it ok to post the apartment choices here too?

Thank you soooo much!
