I am looking to rent an apartment in Paris for 3 nights 11/30-12/3/2013 I know most rent by the week would like to stay in the 4th or the 6th

Quite a few do not rent by the week, probably most, but I think 5 nights is often a minimum.

Vacationinparis usually has a 5 night minimum from what I've seen. But I think they have some with 3, unfortunately, I don't hink you can search that way. This one for example http://www.vacationinparis.com/apts/id_115.htm

I think I've seen some on VRBO who don't require 5 days, also.

We've used vacation in Paris several times but always for a week. However, in looking at their apartments if you scroll down the page of the specific rental the prices are in a blue box, below the weekly costs, additional info for shorter stays is listed. Just doing a few random selections I found quite a few that will rent for 3 nights at an additional fee. If interested why not call vacation in Paris, their phone number, in New Jersey, is on their website, you can tell them the size, location and dates of travel and they'll tell you what is available. Over the years of renting apts in Paris, I have found that many rent for 3 days. It just takes time to search and find them. There is a thread on Fodors, Apt Rentals in PAris, or something to that effect that has lots of apt rentals -- you can a do a search and try and find it.
