Looking for an apartment in Paris in May
My wife and I are going to Paris at the end of May and am looking for an apartment for 5 to 7 days. Have searched the net, saw many beautiful apartments, would prefer to take recommendations. Budget $200-250/day. I believe the best place to stay would be the 6th or 7th.
Thank you.

Your budget is good but since this is almost feb. the best place might be rented.
VRBO is our site of choice and since we good often to Paris we prefer not to pay any agency fee.
We also prefer to stay in more authentic parisian neighbourhodd, with friendlier prices.
I recommend vrbo 44176 in the batignolles 17th. And in the bobos 11th vrbo 103254 with a private patio.

VRBO is vacation rentals by owner.
www.vrbo.com
Basically it's people (or agencies if the truth be known) who rent directly to you. Pros can be no booking fees. Cons can be no agency, you really need to get comfortable with your landlord.
I have used www.rentparis.com in the past and it went very well.
Keep in mind that lots of owners like a 7 day mininum and even some other places have a "penalty" for shorter rentals.
I just talked to the folks at www.vactioninparis.com and thier "penalty" fee is $150 for a less then 7 night rental. In my case it's just as cheap to pay for the extra night.
