One night over night parking Paris 75018
I'd appreciate any help on this. We're renting a car for a weekend trip to Normandy. We're scheduled to pick the car up Friday night and leave in the morning.
Other than circling around to find an empty street space (wish me luck), I'm trying to find a reasonable price parking for the one night.
We're on Rue des Cloys, not far from Jules Joffrin Metro; I found a place nearby, but it's 25€ and I'm hoping there's another choice!!
Thanks...

Why not arrange to pick the car up in the morning instead of wasting one day and paying for parking? If you have to pickup the car on Friday, then ask if you can leave it in the parking area until you're ready to head to Normandy.
9 Rue des Cloys is where the Hertz office is located. There is a parking garage nearby at 73 Rue Damremont. Another at 5 Rue Firmin Gemier. And one at 142 Rue Marcadet.

Don't be cheap, pay the 25 euro and use a garage. That's a pretty normal rate in the city, in fact, a lot are now 30 euro even out that way, the vinci Park way down at Barbes Rochechouart is 28 euro a day. If you are there 12 hours, it will be the daily rate.

I suspect it's this weekend the OP is referring to so it sounds as if kerouac's "parking is free on most streets all the time" in August is a timely bit of information.
Have a great weekend, P & J !
