Wow - can you narrow it down a little to a particular Country?

Are you touring Scotland? What about hiring a car and touring England and/or Wales?

How about the Amalfi Coast (biased because Ive just got back from there and loved it!) lots of beautiful scenery, lovely food wine etc, lots of small quaint villages

Tuscany sounds good, and why not tour Florence while you are there?

The Amalfi Coast is Italy. The area where Naples is located. It is very beautiful and there is a lot to see there.

I'd start with travel, me. Why don't you have a look at the Edinburgh airport web site and see where you can fly to from there?

Or just stay in Scotland. It's only 2 weeks, you know.

I read about capri and amalfi it said packed during Sept and Oct. Is this true for most of Italy during this time. Has anyone been to Naples or is Florence and Tuscany better. Can I drive/ train to a recommended beach from Tuscany?
