Munich to Vienna (Bratislava) by rail, 8 days

This was to be a family driving trip through the Alps, but things happen, and I will be traveling alone (Male, 71yo) and by rail. The plan is for the end of July. My interest is sightseeing and my objective is to take hundreds of pictures. I was in Munich 27 years ago with my wife and enjoyed it very much. We did sightseeing, riestaurants, beer halls, shopping etc. Now it will be sightseeing only probably by city tour buses.
Munich - 3 nights - Fly in, sightseeing tour, day trip to Zugspitze.
Rail to Innsbruck, 1 night, sightseeing.
Rail to Salzburg, 1 night, sightseeing.
Rail to Vienna - 3 nights - sightseeing city tour, boat trip in the Danube, to include Bratislava, fly back.

Open to suggestions. I intend to travel 1st class, for quieter trips.

check fares for German trains at www.bahn.de/en - German Railways including discounted tickets.

For Austria http://www.oebb.at/en/ and www.westbahn.com. You can always buy tickets once there IME but you can nab nifty discounts by booking (in stone however) far in advance.
