Moderately priced French restaurants in Paris: an update
About 10 years ago, the (now defunct) Web site Paris-Eiffel-Tower-News.com published an 80 item list (4 per arrondissement) titled "A Selection of Inexpensive and Good Parisian Restaurants - French Cuisine Only." We have tried a handful, finding them all to live up the their billing, and have recommended the list a number of times to Fodorites over the years. With more than 10 years since the original publication, I suspected that the list needed some updating, and took that as a project on my most recent Paris trip (full report forthcoming). That update follows for the first half of the list, which can still be found in its original form at http://www.beauxvoyages.com/Selectio...Tower_News.pdf
The update takes the following form, which should be pretty much self-explanatory. Hope this is useful for those seeking French food in Paris at affordable prices.

AJPeabody, there are quite few lists of this type to be found, but the originator of this list is likely long gone, so no updates here, I suspect.
fuzzbucket, when I passed Au Vin des Pyrénées a couple weeks ago, it looked permanently closed -but maybe one of the locals can confirm or refute.
