London Open House

Hello everyone --

This question might be a bit obscure, but I'm hoping someone might have the answer. I'll be in London over Open House weekend (http://www.londonopenhouse.org/) and am wondering if anyone knows the buildings that are open this year. Also, have they already started taking bookings?

I realize that I can purchase the guide, but am not 100% sure I want to commit yet. Seeing a list would help push me in the right direction. So far, I haven't been able to locate it anywhere.

Thanks in advance!
- h.

The list is available, free, at the website. Go to the search page and just play with the search engine. Select "buildings of any period" and "all types of buildings" and leave the postcode blank, and you get 67 pages of list for free.

Alternatively, the .pdf of the list is only £3.

Bookings are open, usually via the site, though in many cases are full already.

However, most locations don't need booking.

We were in London three years ago during "open house" and thoroughly enjoyed it. Albeit, there was lots and lots of walking! So many interesting buildings to choose from. Enjoy!

If there's something you're particularly interested in - book early.

I know from experience that anything connected with the sectret state (bunkers etc) "sells" out very quickly.

In general the sites that are for Architectural studies are a lot easier.
