Royal Mews in London

So far I haven't seen anyone post about visiting the Royal Mews in conjunction with a visit to Buckingham Palace and/or the Changing of the Guard. The Royal Mews comprise the stable area, and visitors can see the horses and carriages used on state and other occasions.

We visited the Royal Mews on our very first trip to London. It was quite interesting. That was about 20 years ago so we're probably due another turn to see if anything's changed!

It is my understanding that the opening times are Mon-Thurs, noon to 4pm. If that is incorrect, please comment.

Ron,

The web site shows open times Sat - Thurs 11:00 - 16:00. Price 5.50 GPB.

When the Palace is open the Mews is open daily 10:00 - 17:00.

I have a visit to the Mews planned for my next trip.

Note that while it is open until 4PM, the last admission is 3:15.
