London and Paris
I'm planning 5 nights in Paris and 5 nights in London maybe in March. Does anyone have knowledge travelling to both in March? I don't enjoy travelling/site seeing in hot weather. Thank you!

If you can travel in any of these months, why not go when you might expect better weather, while still not too warm? Of course any month can be enjoyable but why not go for optimum, all other things being equal. I may dislike cold, though, more than elberko.

March is a fine time to travel if you don't like hot weather. Could be cold and rainy, could feel more like spring. Less crowds than in the summer. I have been to Paris several times in March, I like traveling then because of the less crowded atmosphere and because the cultural season is in full swing, so more choices for theater, concerts, and dance than in the summer season.

I think you are asking if March is a good time to miss hot weather -- right? It definitely will not be hot in March. It could be nice, but it could also be cool/wet/wintry in both cities.
There is really no bad time to visit either place. If you have flexibility, May would be better but March is certainly OK.

What is hot for you? You can never entirely predict whether there will be an unduly hot or cold or dry or wet spell (for the time of year) just in the five days you choose to be there. But it's unusual for the weather to get much out of the 50s or low 60s F in March, or much out of the 60s or at best low 70s F in May. And it could be lower.
The one thing is certain: there will be longer hours of daylight in May - 12 hours in March, 14-15 hours in May.

If all you're worried about is hot weather, you won't have any problem in either city.
Normally, it's still quite cold, drizzles a lot (might have little snow flurries) and is windy. Things won't be quite as crowded as usual, due to the weather, but there are large tour groups booked all year long in Paris.

I don't like hot weather either. I have been in London/Paris is Sept, May/June, and november. In all those trips the weather was all over the place so be prepared for all of it. In Sept it was sunny and clear the first days in London and rained buckets the day we were leaving, and it was just sunny and gorgeous the next few days in Paris.
In May in London, on another trip, it was chilly, cloudy, never had rain, was sunny and hot the day we left for Paris, was hot and humid the first day in Paris, I was hot and sticky, and then the clouds came, the temps dropped by 15 degrees and it poured rain off and on for the next few days.
November was cold (love it), overcast, no rain until my last day and then it was just a sprinkle.
So, making a long story short, be prepared for anything anytime. Take layers and an umbrella and have a great trip. Really my two favorite cities.

In March you should not really get any hot weather. This is late winter/early spring and you are much more likely to get cool/cold with grey skies and possible mist or drizzle (but real rain also an option). Or all your days could be sunny (but doubt it very much).

Did you know that there are websites that give you historical weather information for anywhere in the world? Average high and low temperatures for each month, average rainfall, etc.
www.weatherbase.com
is the one I use most often.
