Lisbon recommendations?
Hi everyone. The wife and I have booked a 5 day trip to Lisbon in April (4 days of actual on the ground time). We're definitely going to take a day trip to Sintra, and visit Belem. Given our short timeline, we're likely to spend the rest of the time in Lisbon itself, but open to hearing any must-do's.
Would appreciate any restaurant recommendations you all have. We're not looking for any 5 star restaurants per se, but we are "foodies" who appreciate creative cuisine. We're also open to any vegetarian options that may be out there as well to mix those in.
Thanks in advance!

We enjoyed our meal here http://restauranteleaodouro.com.pt/leao-gallery.html
Great atmosphere and food. Just down from the Rossio train station.

Hi,
This article focusing on what's hot in Lisbon right now, has some nice recommendations for all budgets: http://www.lisbonlux.com/magazine/tr...of-the-moment/
For vegetarian meals, I recommend the excellent buffet of "Jardim dos Sentidos" for lunch (strangely, their a la carte dinner service is weak in comparison to their lunches): http://www.jardimdosentidos.com/#fid...cio/Contactos/
For veggie dinner, I suggest "Terra": http://www.restauranteterra.pt/English/Welcome.html
As for other things to do in town, here's a suggested itinerary: http://www.lisbonlux.com/lisbon/itinerary.html

We found Largo to be an excellent lunch stop (www.largo.pt). It's considered one of the 10 best in Lisbon for foodies. There is also Lisboa à note (www.lisboanoite.com) in the Bairro Alto.

We spent a month in Lisbon last year and I have quite a few posts on my blog which you might find helpful, including food reviews, museum info and walking tours.

For us the Gulbenkian Museum was a must, I didn't get around to blogging about it but it was a highlight. Do try Cantinho do Avillez for lunch, fabulous and much less expensive than dinner. I also liked the Design Museum, but perhaps not if you only have a few days.
We stayed on the Rua do Norte mentioned above and it certainly is happening!

Hope this helps, I'm sure you'll have fun Lisbon is great.
