Less than 24 Hrs until I leave for Paris!! I need to vent!
Hi guys.....ok, so I have been counting down the days on this board until I leave for my trip to paris....now it's time to start counting down the HOURS!! lol I can't believe it! I just want to give a big thank you to everybody who has helped plan, and answer my questions! This board has been a God send.
I am now less than 24 hrs away, and I am starting to freak out!! Am I ready? I hope so.....there is no real point to this message other than to just get out some of the pent up anxiety that i feel, and who better to share it with than a gang of travel buffs?
Anyways, even though tis late, and I should be dreaming about Paris and not posting about it...if anyone out there wants to talk about, feel free!!
Bon soir! Merci infinitivement!

Hello aucho, so many get stressed out right before they leave on a trip. So do know you are normal, lol.
Do know as long as you have your valid passport, your airline documentation, credit card(s) and ATM(s) you are fine. If you have forgotten anything else you can buy it in Paris.
My wishes that you have a comfortable flight and that your days in Paris will be beautiful, interesting and something you will remember forever.

I agree completely. Passport, credit card, and flight into Paris is all you REALLY need. The rest you could wing it if you needed to.
"Am I ready?" YES! Relax on the plane and enjoy Paris. You will adore it!

aucho, you are now in Paris...I am about to join you!
I'll be watching for you (haha)....we are Canadian also, and our french is so-so. We'll get by, but our accents are pathetic!
I leave tomorrow & am having nerves about forgetting things too...back May 31.
Hope you had a great trip! (I think it will be rainy...maybe we'll pass each other in the passages...)

It is perfectly normal to be stressed out.......due to having high expectations, tons of planning, anticipation......
I totally know where you are coming from.
I do a little checklist to make sure I haven't forgotten anything.
I suggest once you get to the airport and check in your baggage, begin your relaxation phase. Get a good book or magazine, something good to drink, and slowly begin to veg and relax.
I say remember to try the coffee in Paris (totally great!) and to bring back something that you can use a lot when you are home so you will always remember your trip!
And take tons of pics and choose your favorite one to make as your computer wallpaper.
