Leaving tomorrow..... what one important thing should I do most of all before I leave?
I know of so many things I had planned to do but I just ran out of time... college graduation , sold my house... so I may have to wing it a bit.
What one thing should I do before I go? I know one thing is sleep but of course I have missed the forum... This is the best thing I have ever found on the computer!!! Thanks to all for all your help, Paulo, Ben Haines, Santa Chiara, Bob the Navigator and so many others... Planning the trip is half the fun and certainly the forum has made so many of us giddy with anticipation!
I may just never come back.....

You did not say how long you would be gone on your trip. If it is more than 2 weeks, I would check out monthly bills. We found (during our 3 week vacation) that all credit card and telephone bills would come just after we left and be due before we got back. My husband has a fetish about paying any late or interest fees. So we ended up calling the credit card companies. They get mail on Sunday so there is no grace day plus they thought it was important to let them know we were going since they periodically check unusual location charges. We ended up calling the automated system to see what the amount cleared was plus outstanding uncleared at home, we had to prepay the bills before we left home. Still missed the phone bill, but they at least did not cut us off.
By the way the most important thing to do is relax! Check your list grab the tickets, passports and copies and have a great time!!!!!

Let me see---potential show stoppers ?
1. A copy of your passport
2. Being sure your ATM PIN is 4 digit
3. Copy of all needed RX
4. A corkscrew
5. Cool sun glasses
6. Extra reading glasses
7. An open and tolerant attitude

It has been fun watching your trip evolve. Sometimes the shotgun approach
works too. BUON VIAGGIO !
