Lake Como ~ boat (and Captain) rental for 10 friends!

Happy Labor Day!

We are 10 friends from Texas. We will be in Bellagio, Lake Como, for a few days starting September 29. One day we want to tour the lakeside attractions and eat lunch at Locanda dell'Isola Comacina.

Does anybody have a recommendation for a private boat (and Captain) large enough to haul us around for say 6-8 hours?

Thanks for sharing your knowledge.

For a party that size they may send a launch to get you.

Why don't you try these links for starters? And please report back about pricing if you do:

But don't you think it is a waste to have the boat wait while you linger over a long lunch?

Thanks for information. I have contacted the companies (plus one I saw on the internet) for availability and prices. I will report back with the prices.

Yes, I do think it would be a waste to have sitting around while we enjoyed a 2 hour lunch. Thanks for suggestion ~ I will ask them to quote price without waiting while we eat. I will let you know if they give a break.

Hello, I am back again.

This is confusing (includes about 2 hours for lunch):

Taxi Boat Service is showing 6 hours for E350 (www.taxiboat.it)

Taxi Boats (taxiboatcernobbio.it) is showing E750 for 5 hours

Boat Services (boatservices.it) is showing E700

There is a little more to the story but this is close.

Taxi Boat Service looks far cheaper and I like the looks of the boats.

They all include a Central Lake Tour and then drop us off couple hours for lunch.

Anybody have any experience with them?

Thanks
